Alternatives to Decleor Balm Essential

Hi, I really like decleor balm essential and have just finished the jar. Unfortunately it will be rather expensive to replace and I don't think I can justify the cost at the moment. I have looked on ebay but am concerned about buying a fake.

Has anyone used an alternative cheaper product that they could recommend?

Many thanks for reading this post.

Cheers

    Nope :(

I dont think there is anything as nice as

I did try a rose oil balm for a while, but I keep going back to Decleor, my skin loves it

Keep an eye in TK MAXX, I sometimes find it there

You can also find it on some of the discount cosmetic websites such as cheapsmells - sorry Ive lost my bookmarks
  • I too am a slave to Decleor (the Neroli balm ) even three days without it and I can see the difference.

The best place I have found is https://www.cheapsmells.com (I suggest this site a lot, but dont work for them honest!!)

They have the 30ml jar of the balms for the same price as most places do the 15ml. (£32-ish)

Postage is minimal and they tend to deliver within 3/4 days I have been using them for a good few years now and have never had any problems.

Although if you do find a suitable cheaper replacement PLEASE do pass it on :rotfl:

    YDSM
I wish I would take my own advice!

Actually when you think about it its not THAT expensive - a jar last for ages. A large jar will last a good 3 - 4 months as so little is needed

Well thats what I tell myslef when Im paying out :D

Nope - not found anything as good I'm afraid. I guess unfortunately in this case you really get what you pay for! At least it always seems to last ages so probably not bad value for money. Mine tends to last a good few months.

So although I can't reccomend a cheaper alternative I can share my top tip! Make friends with the counter girls! I work away a lot so tend to visit a particular counter in Edinburgh a lot.
I always chat to the lovely girls (mainly as
I know nobody outside of work up there!). I've had a few treatments with them (when they do the offer with free facial with purchase). Now whenever I buy anything they give me LOADS of samples - usually enough to last a good 4-6 months.
As my mum loves decleor too I tend to offer to pick up her products just so I can get the samples!

Saying that - I know this doesn't happen everywhere as the counter girls in my local area are miserable and unfriendly!!

I think I read about this stuff - is it for congested skin? My forehead is really bumpy with daily whiteheads :(
    My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j

I use the Ylang ylang one for my oily congested skin although I would say the Neroli one would be as good

If you are trying it for the first time - go through QVC - you can return it if you dont see an improvement ( they also have the videos on site showing which one is best for each skin type )

    Check out gaias-garden.co.uk

She made me a cleansing oil, for my very oily skin but if you email her your requirements she'll make a recipe up for you. Reasonable prices too, think I paid about £8 at the time!
