SVR portability?

Options
Hello all,
3yr fix just ended @ 5.34%. Now on svr @1.99% Bank of Ireland(Br&West). Looking to move, as family grows, and have £113,000 mortgage outstanding. We need further 70,000 and have equity on current home approx. 45-50K. Would it be possible to port the current deal and take on the extra separately? In addition, the initial mortgage in my name only and wish to now have a joint mortgage with partner. Thanks in advance for any advice

You need to ask lender as portability is subject to lending criteria and the terms specific to your mortgage deal.

    BoI/B&W SVR is 1.99%?

    That's news to me. I'm sure I'm paying 3.8%?

Is it possible your reversion rate was a tracker, not SVR?
