Hello all,
3yr fix just ended @ 5.34%. Now on svr @1.99% Bank of Ireland(Br&West). Looking to move, as family grows, and have £113,000 mortgage outstanding. We need further 70,000 and have equity on current home approx. 45-50K. Would it be possible to port the current deal and take on the extra separately? In addition, the initial mortgage in my name only and wish to now have a joint mortgage with partner. Thanks in advance for any advice

BoI/B&W SVR is 1.99%?
That's news to me. I'm sure I'm paying 3.8%?
Is it possible your reversion rate was a tracker, not SVR?I am a mortgage broker. You should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
