I think I've bought a car in a MSE WAY...

we had to buy a new car, money in isa which can't be touched till March.
So got an egg flexible loan (7.9%) but can be paid back at anytime with no problems for £5000. Went to choose the car today and because we have been customers before they waived their credit card fee, so paid £4700 with a cashback credit card! (only 1% but that's £47 for me!)This will be paid back as soon as the bill comes in with the egg loan money and I will also then have £300 sitting in my isa.The firast payment for the loan isn't till 5th Feb as we've missed their cut off date for Jan payments so will use that £300 to make the first payment, make two more payments in Mar and April and then pay it off as soon as the ISA matures, therefore paying minimal interest!
I think the only way i COULD HAVE DONE IT ANY BETTER WAS TO USE A 0% credit card but I wasnt sure at the time if I could pay by card.
All thanks to MSE, BEFORE THIS i WOULD JUST HAVE GOT ALOAN AND NOT THOUGHT About it, feeling quite proud of myself!
