I just ordered some makeup - thought I'd get some good stuff and I dyed my hair earlier. It'll need to get done again before the wedding to cover the ever increasing greys. !!!!!!. I'm only 31!!Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Distinguished code...think of it that way
I need to get some make-up but preferably without needing to take out a loan for the stuff. Had a Bobbie Brown make up lesson thing and ended up buying their cream blusher and an eyeshadow but they are really lush and a lot of people say they're good value as they last for ages. But I still need to get some decent waterproof mascara and would not pay BB prices, and gel eyeliner, preferably the pen-brush sort if you know what I mean, but not sure who does that. Still not sure about foundation v tinted moisturiser...at my age I'm needing to be more careful than you lot about the wrinkles once the slap goes on!0 -
Have you got a primer ellay?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

Hi guys, had a good weekend. Yesterday went out for tea, ate fine (4 dough balls, salad n scoop of ice cream , s day!) but OH and me shared a bottle of wine, n haven't done that for a while! Was very tipsy! So then we thought it was a good idea to go on the Wii fit... Well it was fun!
On the good news, I weighed and measured myself today. I have lots nearly a kg this month, not a lot I know but it does seem to be consistent, and as OH pointed out at that rate I would be dead before the wedding! I have also lots a bit of cm, a cm on top half (several measurement points), a couple around the bum and 1 off the thighs- so I am very happy with that! I am confused tho how I can not loose a lot of weight, but loose cm, while not doing exercise!! It can't be muscle!? Oh well, who cares!anyway!

Code...no, no primer. I've heard Milk of Magnesia works but yet to try that. They did use some primer on me when I had the session done but I've lost the list they wrote for me. How essential is it?0

Well done Jo!! That loss is fantastic. :j:j
I'm definitely using a primer ellay. It gives your makeup something to cling to and goes on smoother so it stops your makeup sliding off as much and means it lasts longer and it doesn't sink into your wrinkles as much. I've got 2 - one for my oily t-zone and one for the rest of my face. I'm also planning to get some preparation H for the bags under my eyes.
i just ate huge amounts of phish food. Bad me.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
wow, well done Jo. that is so cool if you have lost a kg in a month. wow!!!! u doing the s diet arent you?
code when my make up lady first mentioned primer, i was like wth!!! sounded like a DIY for a house thing hehe.. I am going to have to prob ditch her as my cousin has come forward saying she can do my make up for free for both functions esp as she is starting out her business as a mak-up artist. primer shrimer. hehe...
oh code i am in the same boat. i have loads of greys too and even having high lights done for me for such a mission. i need to book nearer the time as have a voucher for colour to use up. need to do prob do it myself first and get 2 bottles of dye! grrr.. the things we have to do.
well had a heavy lunch (chicken curry wth chapatis and rice - at my mums) and came back and had some more chicken with rice. lol. and also some indian dessert. not good!!:0( want to go to bed now as am knackered.. better sort those bliming invites tomorrow otherwise, more arguements will occur. sigh. good night sweeties. xxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Code...the Milk of Magnesia thing is something I've read a few times on here - you ever tried that? What primer do you use? I'm hitting Manchester on Wednesday so may stock up there. Also have a birthday in a couple of weeks so can drop make-up hints to my darling sons
Jo well done - I'm the same as you over the loosing cm thing...some weeks I've lost weight but very little has got smaller, others I've put weight on but the cms have got less. And whereas it used to be that my boobs were the first place I lost weight, they've just got bigger and stayed there...am quite pleased really0 -
Yeah, I am doing the s diet. I am managing to stick to it as well (most days). Apart from Fridays! I manage the whole day fine, then when the evening comes I have to have some dessert! So I have decided (& other half said ok- I have him checking up on me) to have puddings on a Friday night too. If I didn't I would never be able to stick to it!
For some reason a kg doesn't seem that much to me!? But I have no perspective! Am def going to start using the Wii fit more.:T0
