Wedding Diet Thread....

Ah, bettyB I feel your pain! I had to measure myself last week for a dress I'm ordering two sizes smaller (eek! Though I have 9 months to fit into it!). It wasn't fun...

When are you hoping to get married? Maybe you could postpone the measurements by a month and give our 30-day shred challenge a go after all? It's supposed to help you lose pounds *and* inches - and apparently can be attempted by complete beginners like me. I'm hoping so anyway!

Lunch ideas... My current lunch fave is Tesco's Light Choices baked potato w/cheese and chive (250 cals each), though that is quite carby I suppose! A low carb lunch I've done recently is a tin of tuna mixed with a little seasoning, natural yoghurt and linseed crackers (also around 250 cals). And there's always sushi if you like that?

Morning guys.

Some low carb lunch ideas can be things like steak and peppers (you can add some cream cheese for a change) grilled chicken breast (can add a small amount of cajun seasoning), you can get hamburgers from Asda which are low carb so cheeseburger without the bun, stir fried pork, tuna, omelettes and so on. All can be prepared in advance and go in the microwave.

Right. 6 weeks to my wedding. Just under 2 weeks to my fitting. Have been majorly stressed over the weekend thanks to my brother being a total doorknob but did some wii zumba yesterday and my shovelglove is done. I will be good this week. I will. I will. I will.

H2b found my sledgehammer and wanted to know what it was for. I had to explain shovelglove and now he thinks I'm a looney.

Code, I don't think you can blame ur OH for thinkin ur loony with the shovelglove! Think about it...! It may do wonders, by it is always going to look wierd! And I have read ur blog about ur brother, I think u r handling it so well! I would have gone postal! U r totally justified in ur actions, not that u need to justify them to anyone but yourself.

I know. I feel like a looney doing it. And when I was explaining it "well, I use this sledgehammer with a jumper on it to shovel pretend coal, churn imaginary butter, chop imaginary wood and flip imaginary levers." Haha. He just looked at me like 'oh she's being crazy again. Why do I bother to ask about these odd things.'

I was actually shaking with anger about the way he acted, especially when I spoke to my mum and she was shocked because he doesn't have anything nice to say about that particular son anyway. h2b is ready to throttle him for being such a smeghead. At least all the important people will be there I guess and that's all that matters.

Morning all. how was everyones weekends? hope good!!!
code you are so so good. any sign of stress and i feel like just sitting and crying. lol

weekend was productive in terms of invites! woo hoo! finally done and dusted (well sort of as the guy will send me a draft to see and once we ok it then takes a week)! but im glad thats done. I went for my first photography course yesterday which was fab. i just need a nice camera as have a little one. hehe

food-wise, very very bad, esp when i am out and about. i ate lots of samosas and cake (was younger brothers bday) and then last night after the course, i was going to prepare some pock chops and we didnt have all the ingredients, so went for pizza again!!! ewww. i must stop this as i am going to be so fat!!!

I know! it was 6 weeks yesterday. We sat down and chose our ceremony last night! It's all a bit real now.

I had a good weekend thanks rups. Got r rings sorted, H2B having one (Yay!). Didn't really eat a lot, but what I did eat wasn't good! On sat ha croissant n smoothie for breakfast, then a Starbucks milkshake for lunch (wasn't hungry), and homemade fish n chips for tea (was small). On sun had croissant again, homemade milkshake (just milk, ice, an vanilla), Gregs cookie, n 2/3 pizza for tea. Lookin at that it doesn't seem too bad....
Enjoyed the sun very much!

i had croissants too. hehe. and after that i just cant recall. its like having a boozy night, but with food. ewww. need to really stop it and using weekends as an excuse to eat rubbish is not good. :-( esp this pizza obsession we have
