called my local store. "We can't tell you if the sale starts tomorrow or not. We are not allowed to say" This after a lengthy conversation with the manager which I could hear.

However, they could reveal that they open at 11!

The Clarkes store in Forester Sq in Bradford has the sale shoes already displayed.

There were loads of kids shoes all at half price.

Well If you have a peek tonight while they are shut you will see everyone dragging out sale racks ready to launch tom. They wont tell you, cos of competition, retail is very shush shush about sales because other store start bringing their sales forward to compete.

We were in St Albans branch today and the manager said they were meant to start tomorrow but all the kids trainers were 1/2 price from today. He was not sure about the rest. Lots of boys trainers for once. Both my boys got kitted out and I only went in to check when the sale started. Really pleased

Lakeside started their sale today - lots of little sizes in the kids but not much in the 9,10s etc most were half price.

Wow I cant beleive some started today...hey ho, maybe they did it as the manager was off on the sunday and needed to launch a day early or had lots of extra stock!

My son has very big feet for his age - expensive - went in today and bought him a lovely pair for £12 half price - ideal - get in while they still have the selection of sizes
