And recieved a letter from B/card yesterday telling me to phone them as my offer to pay £50.00 a month doesnt meet with there official reduced payment structure,no chance am i going to ring them as they will likely just want to try and squeeze me for what i havnt got!!0

Is that on a temporary plan? An arrangement. They've said I can call them but then I only sent my letter back to them yesterday re Full and final so will see what comes back from that. They'd be getting near 50% settlement having accrued near £1k in interest from me in time the debt has been with them.
It was an offer of token payments of £1 (for the foreseeable future i suppose until my circumstances change). Of the ones that accepted - they said they would accept this for a certain length of time. One said 4, one said 8 and one said 12 months. They said they would review the situation then (whatever this means).0 -

Yeah, don't ring them. Where did you get the £50 from? Was this what you were advised to offer?0 -
I wasnt advised to offer this amount Pip its what i can afford to pay each month as oppesed to being able to pay my full minimum repayment, the cash is basically what i have left after i have paid all my outgoings0

I havnt posted here for a while so just thought i would update my situation, i dont seem to be getting that much grief at all from my creditors thus far... although by that very statement im probably tempting fate maybe :rotfl:
anyway Virgin Money..... hardly any grief whatsoever i have been paying them the £50.00 a month had pledged to pay and the only correspondence i have recieved has been a notice of arrears at the weekend
Barclaycard are a little different.... i find them really spikey to deal with, i have spoken to them several times on the telephone and they just tell me everything is against there lending policy.. i sent them my SOA weeks ago and recieved a fone call from a indian call center last week telling me to ring a UK number to discuss my situation by the 19th june  ... why didnt the UK number just ring me ...doh!!!
Both of these cards have been suspended by the lender0 -
Update......
Am now managing my own DMP with both of my creditors
B/card are being paid £54.00 (10.5K Debt) a month have zeroed interest and charges for me
Virgin Money are being paid £50.00 (£8.5K Debt) a month and also have zeroed interest and charges.... these are both 12 month agreements
all ok so far quite a breeze in fact0 -
You're doing great
I'm getting a bit of grief at the moment, hassle to pay a bit more but nothing I can't handle
