Crafty - I have a box high up in the kitchen (even I need a chair to get it) and then a bag in the bathroom hanging high on the back of the door which just has paracetamol and ibuprofen in it to save coming down if somebody needs them in the night.

Ours are in a small "bathroom" cabinet, on the kitchen wall inder the cookery book shelf. When I moved in with Mr LW, we bought a bigger, pine bathroom cabinet, as we needed a larger one than he had, and redeployed the old one for our daily meds. HTH.:o

Thanks. Clearing other stuff will leave space to keep meds in the kitchen - which is the best place.

Anyone think fish knives and forks will come back into fashion any time soon? No, me neither:rotfl:

only if you go to my mothers :rotfl:

Rubbish day flying, but I did get loads of stuff at the shops. Sadly nothing to make a meal with so i shall be at Mr T first thing. I also need to ice the chocolate cake for the street tea party.

DH out most of the day in some cycling event - a 60 mile jobbie. I shall potter in peace interspersed with some tv.

    Night all

just going to kick Oh off the sofa to put bins out and help me muck out the kitchen a bit - whiffy compost bin not helping - thats going out the back door - I'm not traipsing down the garden in my jamas!

AJ - hope things are peaceful and painfree for your FIL.
Vanilla - hope you are able to be gentle with yourself in a hugely stressful situation
LW - sorry to hear of your friends dog, you sound very fond of them.

Well, coughed myself awake again (hayfever - grrh) so thought I may as well get up, calm the cough with a hot drink and write a plan of action for the weekend. The next couple of months are ridicously busy at home, at church, at work and we've now added something else into the mix as though we need an extra challenge! :rotfl:

So best go load the WM & DW, and get moving...

    Morning All

Irchy-mum - have a wonderful day with lots of happy memories - don't forget we want piccies!

AJ - thinking of you all - hugs

Vanilla - just kick him - won't do anything but might make you feel better!

DH will be home some time this morning and the plan is to try and sort the house out. Kids' rooms are still okay from the gutting I gave them last weekend. The LR isn't too bad as I put all the stuff off the floor into bin bags and they are in my bedroom. Kitchen needs a bit of work but hopefully not too bad. DR needs sorting. Our BR looks like a bombsite, has the stuff in from the LR floor which needs sorting, the ironing mountain as well as the fact that it was a mess before.

Does anyone want some posters with birds on? It's some we had at school from the RSPB earlier this year and it seems a shame to throw them away.

Well so far I've got washing on the line and another load in the WM. I want a bath but can't decide whether to have 1 now or just leave it until tonight.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
