hi chrismojam, well perhaps but I've just had a look at John C's website and there ain't much there. Not compared to MSE. or am I missing your point??0
-
... if you mean he's saying it can be got "free" from MSE, that wasn't the point I was addressing!! He was comparing Martin's book to this other guy's.0

Don't think Amos was comparing Martin's book to John Cummata's....he was just pointing out that Martin's book costs as well...obviously not as much though....
JC worked for Amos....MSE works for others...Alvin Hall for others...etc etc....all have good points to make......I am sure they all work for those who follow the advice...
Without spelling it out.....as it is not above board....do you ever download music??0 -

that was what I meant!! :rotfl:
anyway, never mind!! it's not worth arguing over0 -
lol, did anybody EVEN BOTHER to search the forums?
As I have already, and some time ago, written lots of information on how to work out CAM's using Cummuta's methodologies. Kevicho has also contributed to this quite wonderful knowledgebase that is the MSE forum.
Sorry folks, but information is already here in front of your noses. You've just got to get off your a$$ and go looking for it and not wait for it to come to you

Well I got rid of most of my debt (and consumerist ways) thanks to Cummuta long before I'd even heard of Martin. MSE is nice because it keeps MS local if you know what I mean, Cummuta is good but very US orientated. Plus of course he doesn't cover the local goodies like R&R'ing Mr Tesco and reclaiming bank charges etc.
I think there's great benefit in not worshiping any one god0 -
John Cummuta gives you a great basis to work on your whole approach to money, from working out your spending habits, realising why the media, advertisors, merchants, CC companies are all working together (hence why i dont watch TV anymore), showing you the power of compound interest, the importance of cashlow (that may be robert kiyosaki lol, ive read too many now lol) and much much more.
As amos says, no point in worshipping one god, i think the more information you get from different sources the better, even if a lot of it does overlap, everyone learns different ways, for example:
David Bach has a brilliant way of teaching you how to look at your spending, but he does it in a funny way, he calls it "the latte factor" which basically is trying to find one (or more) regular non essential item(s) you spend money on then working out the long term cost of that.
Now that would appeal to lots of people, whereas other people may find cummutas, martins or whoever elses approach more to their liking and personality.
Anyone who dismisses this (and indeed anything) even if they havent heard it is a fool, yes it does costs a little money, but that money is more than worth it.0 -
lol abso!!!!!!!lutely. Cummuta, Bach et al. all rock and you'd definitely be a fool to ignore them as Kevicho says
(I would also like to quickly add that you can steal all their stuff off the web if you search hard enough)
