    No idea!! I know some people adopt new names if they have delicate issues they wish to discuss etc...but I think in those cases they must re-register with a new name and you'd go back to being a newbie. Not sure if there's any way to change your name but keep your stars. I'm just glad I picked a name that won't change with marriage or age (its my first and middle initials and date of birth) - no hassle that way!
