Anyone moved (ported) a First Active Mortgage?

Just going through the process this month, did an affordability check, and new rate for any additional borrowing, can keep existing rate for mortgage we already have, and they have agreed in principle, hopefully will be OK!

As mentioned I've got a mortgage with FA at BS+1.1%.
Currently discussing additional borrowing with them.

They'll let me keep my existing rate on the main part (£115K) but then any additional borrowing is separate and through RBS. Which means 4.09% fixed for two years then variable (currently 4%).

Not the best rate but still cheaper I think than remortgaging the whole lot with someone else. I'll have to check though but surely nothing better than BS+1.1% at the moment?

I noticed form the stuff they sent me that the original mortgage is portable. Not sure about the extra bit (but I know you can only overpay 10% a year on this).

Completely useless they are mind. Phoned them the other day and they said they're waiting for an SA302 from me.

Asked them since when since it wasnt requested in the original letter. Apparently, someone spoke to me a week ago - umm, not they didnt. Not cool.
