Uncrowded picnic site suggestions

We are thinking of going on a picnic over the Easter hols but don't really want to battle the crowds in the usual spots like Tullymore and Portrush.

Can anyone suggest scenic spots to go to to enjoy the view which shouldn't be too crowded?

Oh amd which preferably doesn't have too many midgies :o

Carnfunnock Park on the Antrim coast just north of Larne is a good wee place, and not anywhere near as crowded as Portrush or Tullymore

We ended up opting for Carnfunnock only by the time we got there it was absolutely bunged so we drove on up the coast and stopped at Torr Head.
The weather was amazing as were the views and we had our picnic in the car.
Afterwards we drove on up the coast, skirted round the edge of Portrush and ended up taking the Bann Scenic drive which was beautifull too. We stopped at a picnic site on the river and nibbled some more. It was a lovley day and the traffic wasn't too bad.

    Thanks for the suggestions :T
