I do agree that Hotel Chocolat chocolates are some of the best tasting chocolates around, but why the need to be so condescending, dmg24?0

Here the 400g end of season selection is £8.50 and there is a delivery charge on top.
There is no comparison when it comes to ingredients, quality and taste. Maybe you have a dulled pallet?0 -
It's just chocolate. There's no need to be snooty about it - some people like Dairy Milk and others prefer Valrhona. If I could afford it I'd buy this http://rococochocolates.com/hand-painted-chocolate-easter-egg-no-4-with-japanese-bird-design.html but you know, you can't have everything.
Personally, I think Hotel Chocolat is milky and sweet and moreish but a bit bland. We've got a lot of great British chocolatiers (William Curley, Paul A Young etc) but HC bring decent chocolate to the masses very well. Thorntons has a place on the high street as well.0 -
I couldnt bring myself to get the ostrich, but I have ordered your EggsellencyT Extra Thick Egg and a seriously dark wrap egg, all from me from my hubby. Cant wait. Never had such an expensive Easter Egg.
Postage was free, I had used the free postage code, and Quidco too!!
This is far better quality chocolate!ACII and Chartered so now I can focus on learning to play my beautiful Sax. 🎷0 -
OMG what a nasty thread!!
Its chocolate. No major drama. REALLY no need for such nasty personal posts.
Its like comparing Clarks to Jimmy Choo. Both shoes do the job. Both can be considered as a 'quality' or 'luxury' brand to some people, but both have their own market, their own target audience and their own strengths and weaknesses.
No need for the rudeness0 -

Aren't you being slightly dramatic. I can't see any nasty comments, just people stating an opinion.
