I had to go shopping today (food)...tried to be good and watched the pennies.
Came home and decided to trawl through my wardrobe and put clothes etc on ebay. I hope they sell.
Received letter from credit card company charing me £24 for over limit fee....ouch!! What to do??
I am writing to them to explain the charges are unfair etc and have already sent letters off re the PPI claim. Watch this space.
I usually have a "flutter" at the weekend...well, that's not entirely true. I like a "flutter" more often than not but NOT today and am not going to do it anymore.
I am just going to try and abstain from spending unnecessarily but given my state of mind at the moment its very, very difficult.
I do want to be debt free sooooo much and I am trying my hardest.

If its a 1 off its worth asking if they will remove it. btw £24 is twice the OFT limit for complaints so if that is just 1 fee its worth asking for it back.
Dont underestimate carboot sales also. Dvds, cds, records, clothes, computer games, toys etc fly. Just dont take junk and price things fairly(ie people wont pay over a pound for most things) but if you sell 100 items at £1 thats better than 5 at £5.0 -
If your credit card charge is a one-off then try ringing them up and asking if they will remove it as a goodwill gesture. It sounds like you have two charges as they are normally £12 each - one for something being paid when there were insufficient funds and one for being over the limit? If you have quite a few charges then yes look at reclaiming them back.0

Got home from work and did another trawl through the wardrobe. More clothes on ebay.
Had to be ruthless but it has to be done!
Have really budgetted the past two days and will continue to do so. Lunch - not bought - taking stuff into the office for lunch - menu planning - now being done - no takeaways....bottle of wine?? Well maybe tomorrow or Friday. Of course it will be a Tesco £3.99 bottle and none of the good stuff...0
