    Catfish,
I did get advice / valuation independently.
why did you not follow that advice then?

Sadly you (and your mates) are no Martin Lewis.
Actually, these people giving you advice have more financial qualifications than martin lewis, no offense mr lewis.

I think if you really believe this, seek legal advice.

Probably not. However, sometimes people think that this forum is here to encourage try-it-on and fraudulent complaints and are then surprised by the responses they get as most of the regulars do not like try-it-on merchants.

The same regulars will go out of their way to help people with genuine issues.

  • Hi there I purchased my property in June 2007 for £115k, the chap before me brought it in march 2007 for £60k. My valuation was done through northern rock they valued it at 115k. Other properties in the street the same size as mine sold for 70k around the same time. I'm not sure the valuation was correct. I am in negative equity by 40k please can any one give me done advise, I will be grateful x

A valuer will simply have determined whether the property was suitable as security for the lender, (s)he was acting for the lender, not you.

If you had a full survey or homebuyer's report you can complain to the surveyor who did it as they were acting for you.
