Used Postage Stamps

Hi there
I have been collecting used postage stamps for a charity that helps support my wife. I have managed to get a coupel of bin bags full over the last couple of years.
All I want to do now is sell them on so I can donate the full amount to her charity. So far I have not had much luck finding a buyer, infact I think the people I have spoken to our trying to take advantage of my lack of knowledge.
Can anyone advise me of the best way for getting a price for these stamps, some of these have been sent to me from various places around the world.
