Cash back websites

I started using cash back websites a couple of years ago quidco it started well then rapidly went down hill missing payments time after time about £200 worth the straw came when i purchased of ebayan item worth £300 and was'nt paid again so contacted within 3 days and was promptley replied with you should have contacted sooner within 5 weeks EHHH! so i closed my account and joined top cash back website the first couple of ebay transacton went through then it happend again back in jan misssin £50 i did contact tcb then they told me i had to raise it again in may EHHH! last month sent an email spend £28 with the AA and get back £21 bargain nothing i have contacted tcb with no reply and last week i could have got back £50 from aviva car insurance i decided not to use any of these jokers and done it myself ...sick to the back teeth

    To be honest the cashback sites do say not to rely on the cashback as a deciding factor in your purchase as there are times when it is not received.

    That said I have had 3 transactions fail to show up with Topcashback and all three have now appeared since sending missing cashback claims. One was a Christmas gift ordered first week in December and my transaction only showed up in March.

    Unless there are better deals to be had elsewhere I still think it is worth going through cashback sites.
