I have a target of just over £2856 for 100 days....so £28.56. Thats going to be my standard overpayment. Iv made 4 already all going out tomorrow. So really if the challenge is due to start tomorrow its day 1 and il be on day 4 :T obviously il count the standard payments that go to the 2 cards, overdraft and the loan so i will maybe round them up to the nearest multiple of £28.56 so i can stick to "days" and i will see what day the challenge is on compared to what day im on...if that makes sense? It does to me!

Also with interest going on end of April, May, June and July it will probably be more than £3,000 i have to pay off....il definatly do it though!
Work in progress...Update coming July 2012.

    Ooh me me me!!
I'm going to aim for £2500 in 100 days. I do my budget monthly and transfer the total saved on the last day of each month, so there will be 4 payments for me.
This is all going towards a lump sum to pay off my loan in December.

Hi all, not been online over Easter so missed the start of this thread. Thanks Amara for starting.

I don't have any debts that I can pay off in full, but I'm going to aim for £1000 off my Mint card please.
Debt free since December 2015. It can be done

Hello guys!!! I've been away for Easter Sunday, I'm back now, I'll do updating in a moment. Good luck everybody with a new challenge!!!
  • I am strangely excited about my pay-day on Thursday. Not beacuse I want to treat myself BUT because I want to make my first debt repayment as part of this challenge. I have/will also...

    1. Check around my bedroom for any money that is laying around. (I am very bad for emptying change from my pockets and forgetting it)

    2. Check what is left in my bank account day before pay day and transfer this to the debt. (I have already started to watch my pennies so will have a little left in the account- maybe £40???)
Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage :o

  • Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter break... My first payment of £500 towards the NatWest CC which has now been cleared! (I am also taking part in the £11k in 2011 challenge, will use all the payments I make in 100 days towards this - can I do this?)

    Thanks Amara!

  • Hi everybody,

Many thanks to Amara for doing this challenge. First time I have taken part but hope to do £2400 in 100 days.
This clears off Asda and Tesco credit cards which are on the highest rates of interest.
Then I have to (gulp) get down to the biggies!!
Oh well - one step at a time as they say.
    Good luck everybody!:j

    Well, updating's done .
  • Hi Amara,

I have been eagerly awaiting this challenge as I was too late to join in the last one.

Please could you put me down for £2690.51, (personal loan) as this is the loan with the biggest montly payment, the sooner this is gone the better so we can then snowball this onto our other debts.

    Regards
    CF54.
