Hi Amara and everyone, hope I'm not too late to join in this time?
I didn't finish the last challenge and have been awol from the boards for a bit, after getting down to my last £1.2k of debt I received a phonecall from the Student loan co saying I had been overpaid by them in 2007 (!) and owe them £2084.09The man was quite aggressive, saying they had been trying to trace me since then - clearly not very hard as I have made several salary repayments since then and they even quoted my email address to me - but he basically implied I had been trying to evade them and demanded immediate repayment
Anyway to cut a long story short I managed to pay £1k the next day (spoke to a much nicer lady in the phone) and should be able to clear most of the rest this week, but, shall we say, my lightbulb flickered and I lost heart and lost my way with the DFD 'journey' so didn't finish the last challenge and have been at a bit of a standstill since then.
But I am dusting off my challenge mojo and trying to get my head down once again. I can't hope to be totally debt free in 100 days but am aiming for £1966.22 in 100 days, which will clean my student loan, cc and part of my overdraft.
Sorry for such a mammoth post, it feels good to be back on the DFW wagon thoughHope I'm not too late to join in...?

Shrimpy - no wonder you lost your way for a little while as that must have been a huge knock through no fault of your own. Onwards now though. You can do it, and you are only a week and a bit late, so you can catch up.0
