if so how much ?
there are a couple of closer asdas but the one i want deliveries from is 3 miles away, they are the big 24 hour store and carry the most stock
do they charge by mile, would it be better to shift myself over there instead ?
its not for fresh produce or dairy, just cat food pouches which i know they do, thanks in advance

They do charge for home delivery, you can't just pick the store you want deliveries from though. The website will always choose the nearest, that offers the home delivery service.
The price doesn't vary depending on distance, it varies depending on the time and day you want it delivered0 -
Not necessarily, my nearest store that offers home delivery is 9 miles away but the store my delivery comes from is 19 miles away!
However the store is a much bigger one giving me loads more choice making me very happy lol
I always pay for my asda order with an asda credit card meaning that as long as the order comes to £100 I never pay for delivery. HTH0 -

Maybe not always the nearest then, although around here it is. The point is though you don't get to choose the store they deliver from.0 -

It's the biggest store you fall within the delivery distance limit.
So if you have a store 9 miles away, that delivers, and a bigger one 19 miles away, that also delivers, you get the bigger store when you log on.
This is so you get to see more products, the more you see, the more you (might) buy from them.0 -

Well we have a store that is 5 miles away and a bigger store that is 10 miles away, yet deliveries come from the smaller closer store.0 -
Our 24 hour super store 1 mile away does not do deliveries. Our deliveries come from a small store about 12 miles away so we get plenty of subs and not available. I usually book my slot on a tue or wed eve so we pay the £3.50 del charge.0

If i know im going to be in all day i book an 8 hour slot rather than a 2 hour and pay £2.500

Stupid newbie question, but how do you know which store delivers?0

If you go on asda's website and type in your postcode it tells you which stores do home shopping im guessing the first one in the list to offer it for your postcode will be your delivery store.0
