It may just be my clumsy children (both!) but they've both found it difficult to get in and out of the middle one, especially for toilet trips in the night when it's a bit dark etc. Eldest used to have one with a ladder like that, and his knees were always bruised.
They both have beds like the top one now, with the ladder down at the far end of the room because otherwise they'd trip over it
We wouldn't have chosen it for the 5 year old (too high I think, tricky for bedwetting changes etc) but it was given to us second hand and he loved it.
I feel dizzy up there and hate changing the bedding but climbing up for cuddles and stories is okay.52% tight0
