morrisons opening times

not sure where this thread slots in but...

My local morrisons is changing its opening times as of may 3rd. Has anyone else seen any sign by their morrisons store? It says theyr going to be open mon-sat 7am til 10pm. Quite a change really as now they are open 8-8 mon to weds and sat; and 8am-10pm thurs and fri!

Not seen anything around here, still the usual 8-9 Mon - Wed, 8-10 Thurs and Fri, 8-8 Sat. Would be good if they opened 7 - 10pm everyday though, they always did when it was still Safeway.

Poster also outside my local store today. Open until 10pm from 3rd May (I think!)

Hope it is everywhere then, maybe I just missed the sign. Or it was hidden behind the numerous N-Power/Double glazing salesmen and Charity collectors they have clogging up the entrance.

I think it could be something about them wanting to get a license to sell alcohol for longer hours, they put in an application I saw in the window of my local store a couple of months ago.

apparently customers found the opening hurs to confusing so they decided that to make it easier the stores will stay open later mon-tue-wed-sat to match the already later thur-fri hours, seems stupid because in mine atleast the last hour is dead anyway!
