Fall Out Boy (Glasgow Garage)

There [inevitably] are tickets on eBay that are vastly overpriced.
I'd keep an ear to Clyde 1 or another Glasgow-based station in the offchance they run a competition for tickets.
Other than that I am just laughing at the mental image of a 14 year old in the Garage on a normal club night
edit - Sorry, I just realised this wasn't a particularly helpful post. The Garage is not a particularly big venue so there will have been a limited number of tickets. Fans of Fallout Boy will have been either queueing in person or on the internet for the tickets. The odds of any being unsold by vendors is slim. You could hope that there happens to be a MSE on here who has a spare ticket, and I wish you the best of luck. Other than that if you are dead cert on getting your son there you will have to try vastly-overpriced tickets from touts on eBay or similar.0 -
check out https://www.scarletmist.com or buy the sun on a saturday, as the owner of the garage writes a column and often gives away tickets for gigs at the clubs he ownsSometimes i surprise myself by being right.0

Yes, one of his friends has already purchased of Ebay, but I am reluctant to pay the prices asked. I dont know the venue and neither does he. He knew the tickets were going on sale today but did not expect them to sell out so quickly. One of his friends stayed off school to get hers. Its a pity he did not realise the venue was so small or that they would sell so quickly as I could easily have been ready early this morning, we live and learn.:j0 -

A longshot I know but would make a 14yr old very happy!!!
you could have one big problem if you buy a ticket for it as hes only 14.
they are playing hammersmith palais the day after the glasglow gig and theres an age limit of 16 and over.
so if i was you, id check with the venue that theres no age limit for that gig, otherwise you are going to be wasting a lot of money on tickets for a gig that he wont even be able to get into0 -
Thanks to all who replied. I have just bought 4 tickets for their gig at the Carling Academy in April. Tickets went on sale at 8am this morning and I got them at 8.03 with him breathing down my neck. Order was initially for two but a late call last night and an early wake up call this morning from two friends who had heard on the grapevine there was a 'soft touch' mum on the go the order went up....ho hum...and I wonder who will be used as the taxi? Might have to get back to you nearer the time for parking suggestions etc. and where a lonesome mum can hang out for a few hours!!!:j0

At least one of his friends will be 16 by April. He will be will be 15. All four and many more were at a gig in Edinburgh the other week and the conditions were the same. They had no problems getting in. I must admit I was concerned when he was going there but whilst waiting to pick him up it was obvious he was about the average age. Thanks for your concern. He is paying for his own ticket and knows the risks. I will be around to pick him up if he is refused entry.:j0
