IVA/change in circumstances

Hi there,
Two questions - how long do you think it is likely to take for the OR/Moon Beever to process a change in circumstances? I have filled in another IVO form with all the new details and sent it off but not sure when it'll come back!
And two, can they ask for a new payment in retrospect, ie can they ask for April's payment in May?
I'm over a year into my bankruptcy and have been paying regularly etc but have just had a complicated move and have sent a VERY complicated account of everything to the OR. Wondering how long it will take for her to process it!
Thanks so much in advance...

Hi there, have you tried posting this on the IVA board? When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Think pinkapple is talking about an IPA rather than an IVA.
Sorry, can't help but I'm sure someone will be along.“Procrastination is my middle name....well it would be if I could be ar**d to contact Deed Poll."0 -
If it was an IPA then the form would be an IPOQ, not an IVO, which I've never heard of. Which is why I assumed the OP knew what they meant with saying IVA.
Pinkapple, can you please clarify so we can try and help. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Sorry - being an idiot - these acronyms are so confusing! Of course it's an IPO and I've filled in a new IPOQ... What a wally.
If anyone can shed some light (now I've realised what I'm on about!) that'd be really helpful!

Thanks for the clarification and sorry I got it wrong earlier.
All OR offices are very busy these days so it might be an idea to ring and ask how long they think it might take.
As far as I know, changes to an IPA are not retrospective but actioned when you reach the new agreement with the OR.When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

Thanks for your help.
I remember that the OR said that they couldn't ask for retrospective payment of the IPA when we started paying, so it makes sense if the same applies to the changes. My pay is likely to be up and down for the next couple of months so it's going to be tricky! I can only imagine how confusing/uncertain it must be if you're self-employed or paid on commission and your monthly pay varies every month!
Thanks so much for your help (and patience with my idiocy!)pink apple

I was being an idiot too so we'll call it quits eh?
Have you told the OR in your update that your pay will be variable for a few months? When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN

As a suggestion, you could let Moonbeever know that you are currently awaiting response from OR following your revised IPOQ and that is why you have not made any payment to them for April.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
12k in 2018 No. 98 £6274.19/£18000 (34.85%)
BTL (start) £97440.00 (current) £68000.00
Residential (start) £275000.00 (current) £268000.000 -
Hi there,
Yes, ineedaname, I have told them that my pay will be variable and that I won't know what it will be until I get my paycheque each month what I will be paid.
Good idea, iquit, and I did tell Moon Beever what was going on.
Fingers crossed I'll hear something one way or another soon! I have to say I LOVE this forum and have had so much reassurance and support from people, either by posting or reading threads. Thanks!!!pink apple
