Yay got some good news

Options
Hubby applied for a new credit card and was accepted got the card through today and we can now transfer 2 debts that are on different cards with an apr of 54.4% and they can go on this new card at 29% (still not brill but better than what we were paying)

Looking forward to cutting the other two cards up for good or maybe just cancel the accounts, although i may get offer a free balance transfer transfer for a few months on the cleared cards which would help clear some other debts

Everything is going in the right direction now still a long long road but the journey commenced

    Well done. Every little helps.
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing
  • and the card is the new capital one card where the apr reduces in stages so not going to be 29% forever either

It's always nice to hear good news, don't forget to check to see if you can get cashback from either Topcashback or Getpoundsback whenever you look for a new card - or any online purchase! :T

    APR 54.4 - Ouch!!!
Good luck in clearing it - APR 29 will be easy in comparison - just make sure you keep paying the same (or more ;) )to chip away at the debt itself xx
