    Although Sheffield's name was derived from the river Sheaf I think the answer should be the River Don as per this quote from wiki 'The city is located the valleys of the River Don and its four tributaries, the Loxley, the Porter Brook, the Rivelin, and the Sheaf, from which the city takes its name.
