Help please? Call from America?

Hi everyone!

Don't know if anyone can help me! I had a phone call earlier from this number +1 (402) 965-4580. The lady asked to verify my address. I was a bit sceptical on giving out any information so I asked if she had it already and she had my address etc.

I asked what I had won she said a £400 cheque and they were going to send it to me.

I'm a bit concerned because she was calling me from America.

I asked what the competition was and she said she didn't know.

Sorry but it does sound a bit dodgy to me. I tried looking for the the number on whocallsme.com but nothing come up. Surely if they were sending you a cheque out they would know where the comp came from? I really hope I'm wrong and it is genuine though, good luck

I know I tried looking on google and couldn't find anything! I will have to wait and see. Not getting my hopes up though.
