Help!! Bankruptcy + Tax

Hi All,
I'm wondering if you anyone can advise me on the following,
I was declared bankrupt in August 2009, Discharged February 2010. No changes to my employment, but did have a change in circumstances so the OR agreed I no longer had pay my IPA.
I got a NIL Tax code, which started in December 2009, I also received a coding notice to confirm this. The final NIL Tax code was obviously in March 2010, where I then received a new tax code for April.
All the tax paid to me from my employer was then passed on to Moonbeever as requested.
Today I received a letter from HMRC, saying that they understand that was declared bankrupt in August and now require me to complete a self assessment tax return for the year ended April 2010.
Has anyone come across this before?, I have never completed one of these forms before as I thought that HMRC received all the information they needed from my Employer.
Does this mean that the tax I should have paid HMRC during the NT coding is now liable for me to pay?
Can anyone please advise?

Any debts before Feb 2010 when you were discharged are wiped cleaned, your tax was paid in the normal way but then passed on to Moonbeever as requested (you are not liabal)
HMRC are sending theses forms out to everyone who they feel may have earned over the top rates of their earnings, Pensioners who work are being hit also. Fill it in and send it back ASAP.
Thanks
