hi all i am new to mse and new to budgeting well here goes i am just getting ready to go to work and attempt my first no spend day, well its my day off and were doing a charity event at work so im hoping that will keep me busy instead of looking on the aisles to see whats on offer. i have made a sandwich and taking a snack and a drink just incase i feel the need to waste money on a sandwich etc am not sure how its going to go but will see.
i am going to do a list of my cupboards and freezer and try to use that up 1st has any one got any ideas of budgeting etc??
could use all the help i can get
i am hoping writting on here will give me encouragement to carry on and have read some really good threads on here i know i have a problem but will take it one credit card at a time

Hi Lemmings. I saw your thread over on the OS board last night. Hopefully this one will be troll-free.

You might find it helps to sign up to the NSD challenge when a new one starts for May. We all set ourselves a target for NSDs for the month (eg I am trying for 15 this month), then report back regularly as to how we are getting on. Everyone is really friendly there and very encouraging, and it really does focus your mind on whether you really need to spend or not. I don't know how to add a link to the thread, but I'm sure someone else will come along and do it!!
