PPI/credit cards and bankruptcy

Following todays ruling on PPI (albeit subject to appeal),if i understand correctly-this also applies where PPI was on credit cards, and now-the companies need to write to you-as opposed to 'us'chasing any claim.

Prior to my bankruptcy-i had PPI on all of my credit cards.
Obviously this has been absorbed along with the other credit card debt upon my bankruptcy (now discharged).

Is there any likelihood that despite my bankruptcy-and thus debt owed to credit card companies-that these same companies need to write to me in time-and offer a refund on the PPI element of my credit card-even though i have effectivelty caused them to write off alot of personal credit card debt.

It could possibly be argued that my credit card interest would not have been so high-and thus i could have maintained payments and even not had to become bankrupt if i had not had PPI on my credit cards accumulating extra monthly interest .

any views on the principle of this, and whether there is a faint chance i may have to be given a refund for the PPI element despite my bankruptcy !

Any refunds from PPI on cards etc before bankruptcy you'll never see...it'll go straight to the receiver instead

I agree with phil, I seem to recall a similar thread a while back which highlighted the pre-bankruptcy PPI as being the ORs. Would have been nice though.
