I have recently just got my credit report back and my EX partner name is still associated with me on it.
We split over 4 years ago.
Can anyone help tell me how to get her name removed from my credit report

Do you still have any joint debts/accounts that are owed? Still on a mortgage together?

If not then you can ask to be disassociated.

From Experian:

Can I get other people's financial information removed from my credit report?

If you are not financially connected to other people shown on your report you can ask us to remove their information from your report. This is called a financial disassociation. We cannot do this if you still live at the same address and share a financial link e.g. joint account.

If your credit report shows a financial connection that is no longer correct, you can ask us to remove it in the following ways.

• Online. Click here to open our Financial connections questionnaire and disassociation form.
• Via post. Print a copy of our disassociation form and send it to us. (The address is on the form.) You need Adobe® Reader® to open the printable form.

Please always provide us with your full name and the full name of the person you want to be disassociated from, plus dates of birth, your relationship to that person, and any addresses you have shared.

We advise you to also contact the other two UK credit reference agencies for a copy of the information they hold, as it is not necessarily the same.

Same or similar goes for the other 2 agencies.

Homework

My bf has written twice to equifax to remove someone he doesnt even know with the same surname and also his ex divorced 18 months ago and they are both still on there. They have been sent recorded delivery and he cannot get a reply from them. What is the best way to make them remove the wrong information, the no longer valid information and make sure the record is correct. Thanks
