Smeg dishwasher

Options
Anyone know of anywhere selling cheap Smeg (silver) dishwashers. Cheapest one we've seen is about £350 in Currys. Is there anywhere online that sell them cheaper, or with free delivery?

  • I don't want to upset but DON'T DO IT!!!!

I've got a smeg dishwasher that's 2 years old and it's broken down. The internal fixings holding one side of the upper basket broke after about 1 year. Doesn't even have hard use, wife and I work full time and toddler at nursery or grandma's 5 days a week so only gets evening meal dishes etc, run every 2 days on average.

Having researched what the fault might be I'm astounded at the number of people in the same shoes as me with faulty Smeg dishwashers.

I now seriously regret not buying a Bosch or other more reliable brand.

At present I'm weighing up whether to get it repaired or not as the part is £120 plus VAT + labour so probably a bill of around £200, and I've seen a silver Bosch one for £249 brand new.
