    Legally, until you write and SB letter to them, they are alowed to ask you to pay.
    They're not allowed to do that in Eire, where demanding payment of unenforceable debts may be a serious criminal offence.
    Once that letter goes they have to stop. If not report them.
    Or just refer them to the celebrated retort in the matter of Arkell v. Pressdram and add that you look forward to defending any action they might care to attempt.

    Are you able to get recorded delivery online at the post office site? I know there are certain postages you can buy but ve no idea if that's one of them.
