credit file clean up after bankruptcy

hi guys. i was discharged march 22nd 2011. and im wondering how i go about cleaning up my credit file. plus im wanting to get a mortgage on a new house in the next few years.what other ways can i build up my credit score.i have applied for a visa card that builds up your credit score over time.( how true that is i dont know?) if i can gain a mortgage for a £150,000. what deposit would it be etc. just need some advice to rebuild my life over time. thanks guys for any advice:j

I think the general advice is to wait 2-3 months after discharge, to give the creditors a chance to update your file. Then I can only direct you to Fermi's excellent thread here
