my clever tip for strawberry plants................

i was so chuffed with my mini brainwave tip i had yesterday i thought i would share it......

i was looking at my strawberry plants yesterday and noticed i had lots of flowers and didnt want the birds eating them.
i then realised i had literally just thrown out an old shower puff, so i cut it open and unravelled and voila... perfect sized netting for my strawberry plants.....
sorry i dont normally invent my own tips i just use other peoples.....
so just so proud...lol:D:D:D:D:D
cheers

That would look better. Just one question, when you opened it out, was it in one big piece? My last couple of old ones were pulled to pieces by my toddler, so I don't know what they are like normally.

mine was an old body shop one. it unravelled in one long piece but was double thickness, so i just cut it open to make a single thickness if you catch my drift....
my strawberries are all in sperate planters so i just cut off lengths to suit each pot.
