Hi everyone,

I realize this has been asked before but none of the previous threads fully answer my question so apologies in advance.

Having checked my Equifax credit report I see the following:

Communications Supplier from O2 (I) / XXXXXX####
Name: ########
Date of Birth: ######
Terms: 0 @ £ 0 (Monthly)
Status: Up to Date
Current Balance: £0
Status Balance: £0
Credit Limit: £0
Default / Delinquent Balance: £676
Start date: 20/12/2005
Date Updated: 17/04/2011
Date Last Delinquent: 03/11
Date Satisfied:

For the months of

September: 1 (Yellow)
October: 2 (Yellow)
November: 3 (Red)
December: 4 (Red)
January: 5 (Red)
February: 4 (Red)
March: Blank (Green)

The history is that due to working overseas in the middle of no where I had a huge phone bill of £450 for August 2010 and £200 for September 2010. I buried my head in the sand and didn’t pay my bill on September 1st or October 1st so had a total outstanding balance of over £650. I then arranged a payment agreement with O2 to pay it off over the next 5 months with the final payment being in February 2011.

So my question is does this show I have a DEFAULT on my report or does it show that I couldn’t pay off my bill and so set up a payment plan to pay it off in full?

Thanks in advance.

Based on those status codes, then it looks as if there is no default registered. Just missed payments over 4/5 months which were then brought up to date.

Equifax have been doing some strange things lately when listing default/delinquent payments so may be best to double check that with them.
