Well I've been talked into going to get our Xmas tree today, so no doubt will spend more when I am there, tree is coming out of £2 savings which was £230 in total of course. Will update when I get back.
One day I might be more organised...........

A no spend day today, OH and I went to the town centre yesterday to do the final bits of our 'frugal' xmas shop, except it wasn't frugal at all:o We fell off the wagon a bit, not too much but spent far more than we had budgeted for. I have updated our MS Money spreadsheet and it isn't looking healthy so I will have to transfer some money from our savings account to cover what we spent yesterday. Really annoyed with myself/ourselves though:mad: The most regretable purchase was an awful lunch that had to be sent back because it was undercooked and they had the cheek to charge £32.

Don't think there's anything else needed today.......

hi lil me, moozie and the gang, pleased to hear everyone is so happy today ... I have quite a lot of work to do even tho it's a day off and I've got a weirdo pain in my left side so am possibly not as cheerful as I might be. And it's cold grey & drizzly... But heigh ho, "mustn't grumble" and all that. Today my only spend will be on milk for some icecream so that won't break the bank, luckily

Hello! Hooray it is 1st December! Only 22 more days till pay day! :D

Well my budget has been annihalated anyway so I have kind of gone for it today and finished off Christmas shopping and may get a bit of cash out for work Christmas party I am off to tomorrow....then I can concentrate on next week and PLAN PROPERLY this time

So anyway. Didn't need to spend on bus fare this morning as a kind colleague picked me up so I saved £1.50 there.

Spent £9.95 online for some vegetarian multi vits & minerals (180 tablets) for BF & self. He is going halves with me. Don't trust the cheap ones anymore (heard stories...) and I lack iron and BF has to be careful about iodine (bloomin' vegans ;) ) so I'm not too worried about that purchase.

Spent £12 on gifts for BF Mum & Dad via the world vision site. Bought a tap and a birth certificate! I love their alternative gift catalogue and I think I will use it more next year when I am more sorted.

Hang on I am rambling, I should be saving this for my thread!!

    So a £21.95 spend today.

  • Hello everyone:wave:

I've spent £2 on oranges, 44p on a leek (to put in some HM soup) and £1.10 on some eggs.

    Total £3.54

    Well within budget this week:D

Plenty more housework to do yet so that will keep me out of mischief and spending!!

Happy Friday everyone - the weekends almost here:j

Today will be a NSD as I am working at my second job tonight, though they haven't paid me for some reason this week - grrr! doesnt matter though as I got my main wages yesterday so i'm not gonna stress over it, as long as I get it next week.

Did my weekly shop for £17 last night which I was pleased with, so shouldnt need to spend again until next week unless I go out for a pub roast with my partner, might get treated though!

    Enjoy your afternoon folks!
