I'm reminded of a meal we had with friends at the OXO Tower when we were a bit younger. Our friend told us it was wrong to request the menu (read 'price list'
) from the drinks trolley and proceeded to order a shot of brandy that (when the bill arrived) cost more than the main course.
He then told us he didn't even like brandy.
