Endowment Surrender or Sell??

Options
:)I am looking to remortgage and someone advised me to surrender my current endowment policy.

I have got a surrender value today but when I looked for advice, I noticed that there are companies offering to buy the endowment policy from you. Some are stating that they can beat the surrender value being offered.

Has anyone sold their endowment instead of surrendering it to the insurance company and if so, how easy was this to do. What would you advise?

Sue:)

    What would you advise?

If the person giving you advice has done a cost analysis (as proper advice would do) then they are required to compare the various options and let you know the information.

We don't have those figures but the person advising you should. So, they are going to be in a better position to let you know what is best.
