DRA affecting my credit score.

I have a 'debt' with Halifax - bank charges- that have been transferred to IQOR debt rcovery. I have an arrangement with them to pay £10 a month.
I have recently checked my Credit profile and it shows that for the past £13 months this payment has been 'late' which explains why no one would accept my application for a new credit card!!
I came across guidelines on here for debt recovery agencies and the way they should operate and it appears they have breached several of those guidelines in their dealings with me.
Is there anyway I can have my credit history changed? I will be applying for a new mortgage soon and I don't want this to be an issue. I'm currently paying them and halifax direct and am anticipating the usual letter from them saying I should be paying them direct.

if you should have paid the charges but you haven't then a late payment marker is to be expected.
if its been passed to a debt collector then it may be fortunate that it hasn't been defaukted as well0 -
Just to clarify the debt arose from bank charges that I disputed way back when people were getting refunds for them and I had been refunded several. I then changed my bank and left this overdraft arguing that the halifax owed me more than I owed them.
I have an arrangement with Iqor and have spoken to them this morning regarding this. They say that it shouldn't show as late but are going to look into it.0
