This happened to me a couple of times, I just closed all my windows and tried again in half an hour, it worked fine then.
I've managed to download 4 books but wont push it any further as I know it's not fair!

I want one for my hubby, could just use his computer but I don't like the way it's set up and he'll never get around to actually signing up himself, lol.

Thanks for that! I waited, restarted my computer, left it for an hour, and nothing I did would let me use thetrainline on my hubby's account. Then I saw your post and checked my email, and they'd sent me a different code!

They seemed to have changed the offer now. The code no longer works automatically, and they send you a validation code by email within 24 hrs of registering, which can then be used towards a free book.

Yesterday the code that was emailed immediately was the same code every time. Will be interesting to see if the code that is emailed within 24 hours is a unique code or whether everyone receives the same code like yesterday.
