biro on vinyl tablecloth

My boys have drawn on my nice newish vinyl tablecloth with biro have tried hairspray and covering with a dry wipe marker. Any ideas.

    glycerine sometimes helps with biro - it sort of lifts it off.

    I'm assuming you have tried WD40? That seems to sort out most things
    It doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!

    try nail varnish remover also WD40 (other cheap penetrating sprays are available) should take it off

    failing a bit of oil - try using a magic sponge eraser. Not the dear one from JLS as my mum calls that company - but a cheapy version from either Aldi, Lidl or the anything for a quid shop. and I am sure you will then find at least another hundred places where it removes marks other cleaners just dont! (they dont work on fabrics but on hard surfaces I find they remove even old stains).

    Thanks for the replies I have tried the WD40 -no luck
    The Magic eraser - no luck
    Haven't got any gycerine so might have to get some.
    Any other thoughts????

    hmmmm - tough one this! you say they used Biro pens - has the ink soaked into the vinyl? I would only say this as a last resort - try white spirit! if that doesnt work then sorry, am out of suggestions!
  • Toothpaste. Try a little bit on an unobtrusive spot.
