What happens if I am overcharged?
If you have been overcharged or undercharged in any of our stores we will gladly refund the difference (if you have been overcharged) and give you a £2 Gift voucher for each product you have been mischarged for.

Stick to your guns over this as CS swear blind the policy doesn't exist anymore. I've made nearly £60 since the summer on this one!

I have been overcharged twice at one store, and have only been given back the difference. I've just called the Customer services at head office number and now they are saying it is down to the individual store, whether they issue the giftcard, to which i replied but thats not what is written on your homepage. The young man took my details and will call me back.

I can't stand the attitude of the customer services in the store, its like they make you feel you are taking the money from them personally, but what happens if i call trading standards in, won't the fine to them be more than a measly £2 gift card (and yes my friends sister works for trading standards so Asda beware, cos next time I may not be so forgiving!)
And yes the lady in the avatar is me

Carnations were £1.88 each or 2 for £3.00, I was charged full price. Took the receipt back to the sunderland store today and got the difference and £2.00 gift card.

It's just not good enough. At least Tescos are consistent. Really very frustrating. If they want to get rid of the policy then do it properly.
