Interview questions for a lifeguard position

Hi

My son (17) has an interview tomorrow :j for a part-time post as a lifeguard at one of our local sports centres. Can any of you come up with some questions he might get asked?

Thanks in advance :)

My lodger was interviewed for a post as a lifeguard last week, he was asked 3 questions:
    1) What lifesaving qualifications do you have?
    2) Can you prove you have the right to work in the UK?
    3) Can you start this evening?

I guess if he was working with vulnerable customer groups he might have been asked if he'd submit to a CRB check too, but he wasn't.

Crikey, they're easy! He'll have to have a CRB check, he has to take the stuff with him to have one (he has had one before to work in a children's centre).

I hope they ask number 3 - he NEEDS some money of his own!

He has a swimming test so I guess that will take care of that one ;)

Speaking to my lodger - who has had many lifeguarding jobs over the years, he thinks that they're normally extremely easy interviews, his theory is that as the money isn't normally too great, and not too many people are qualified to do the job they only tend to be bothered that someone is legally able to do it (i.e lifesaving qualification, CRB etc.), and don't care too much about previous work history etc.

Thanks, that's very helpful and probably a very valid point. This is his first interview and I'm more worried about it than he is!

I'm thinking about the questions that they might ask just because it'[s a local authority position - equality and diversity and all that.
