Buying/selling video games online

I've come across someone posting messages about a 'price comparison'-type site called game assassin on the wholesale forums but you have to pay a subscription fee. One deal is £2 for 7 days to view prices of various games, but I haven't tried it yet so can't really say if it's worth it. I will prob pay the £2 offer once I'm ready to start selling lots of games, but can anyone here tell me if it's any good?
I also came across a games supplier called click-entertainment, which seemed quite good. However, I'm going round & round in circles researching this & can't find a clear winner or way to go about doing this.
Any advice anyone is WILLING to share? Thanks in advance!

It will probably very limited because I cannot see many people wanting to pay £2 to join a site to buy or sell video games, when you could quite easily do the same on ebay or wherever you want.
If you want prices of games that you want to get rid of, all you need to do is compare a few places such as cex, gamestation, ebay, musicmagpie, for their values.0 -

Try https://www.find-games.co.uk as a games price comparison site.
Typically to compete with the 'big boys' you would have to buy in massive amounts - IF they would sell to you at all.
Its one of the areas that is pretty much sewn up by large companies like play.com etc, and on ebay every tom, !!!!!! and harry is trying to sell them too.0 -
Thanks to all, but I think the GA site lists wholesalers rather than retailers. I need to look in2 it again but haven't had much time. Sorry if I caused confusion.0

I know of GA. I've not tried it, but I do believe it indeed works.
They give you the links to the cheapest retailers for games, and also let you know the going price on Ebay & Amazon Marketplace.
I think the trick would be to buy at the lowest price asap, and also list them once you have had the confirmation email.
Will they sell for a profit? That's the risk you take.
I was recently offered a full trial, but I didn't take it up.0 -
There's some potential for selling older "cult" games if you can find a cheap enough supply and you know the market well.
For example, I found a copy of "Gettysburg" by Sid Maier a few months back in a bargain bin of a local supermarket, paid £5 for it. Got around £20 for it on eBay a few months later. You might have some luck picking up games from car boot sales, but as I say you need to know the market or you risk buying a load of old tosh nobody wants.:A0
