Hi - this is my first post so be gentle with me!!!
I bought a 15" LCD TV from Tesco 2 months ago - my Hubby saw it instore for £20 cheaper yesterday. Can we claim the difference or is the time too long?
Thanks for replying

Hi Anmage. With it being 2 months ago think you might be out of luck. Have attached a link to Tesco refund policy and it states 28 days.
http://www.tesco.com/customerservices/custServCustomerDesk.htm
It is very naughty that they should drop it so considerably in such a short space of time though. I would be VERY tempted to ring their central Customer Service number on 0800 505555 and complain asking what they can do for you at this festive time as you prepare to do your big Xmas shop
.
No point asking in store they wont want to make any comittment and will point to the refund policy as an easy get out. If you get an arrangement from Customer Services (ie the telephone number) get a name (they are based in Dundee).
Good luck (post back if you are successful !).0 -
Buy a new one, get the old one refunded for whatever reason you can think of that is plausible.
Think you have 8 weeks or so with electricals for refunds.Lost lbs =

I paid for a DVD player from Tesco yesterday, when I got out to the car I realised they had charged me wrong. Went bach in and they fully refunded the DVD player so it was free!!It is better to be thought a fool than open your mouth and remove all doubt!0
