Moozie - you are truly an inspiration to us mere mortals! :T :beer: :TI am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Hi there and thank you
I don't think my way is unique but here it is...
1. Limited my spending as much as possible. Started a spending diary which I fill in religiously and keep track of all spending. I do have days that I am not as strict with myself (Saturdays) so that I don't feel deprived which helps me stay focused and determined.
2. I increased my income. I can't get additional work due to my full time job contract restriction but I have been:
* selling things on ebay/amazon/green metropolis
* been doing mystery shopping
* using Quidco/pigsback
* getting pocket money from my OH at every opportunity :rotfl:
Also mustn't forget I got a £4k increase in my salary pa in the last month and all the additional income is going to debt repayment.
If I can do it, anyone can - that's for sure!Leason learnt :beer:0
