  • Well now. I don't get paid till next Thursday and I have £3.60 in cash and a burning desire *not* to withdraw any money before then.

I have a hair appointment tomorrow (with a voucher for 50% off the colour :)) and the grocery shopping to do. Both will be paid for by cheque so hopefully hopefully they will not cash till Thursday.

I can get lifts in to work all next week (fingers crossed) and I take my own lunches in every day anyway.

I have no evenings out planned at all so......what are the chances of me making it through till 22nd Feb on £3.60 eh??

Tomorrow I have to go to town and can get a day return bus ticket for £1.90 *or* I can take the BF's car and leave it at my old place of work and walk in. However I always feel nervous about leaving it there as the car doesn't have a work sticker on it so I always worry about it. And it ain't the most salubrious of areas either. I might just use some of the £3.60 and get the bus, saves the stress.

So that'll be £1.70 for the week then :rotfl:

you know ls before i started on this site i'd have never believed that a person could live on £3.60 for the week, but now i know better! you can do it poppet! could bf not drop you in town then visit a friend or summit before picking you up?

Thanks for your vote of confidence sweetie! :)

BF dropping me off would be ace except my appointment is at 10.00am and I reckon at just about that time he will be hauling a$$ out of bed :rotfl:

I did get him to drop me off & pick me up last night at the dance thing, he was good then.

I don't mind getting the bus, it'll be OK.

And you're right, before this site the thought of living on that handful of change was laughable. Just goes to show how it has shaped our minds eh?

erm... if you want to join the squad you have to put your name down for the audition...the list will be on the notice board by the common room.

tryouts are tomorrow night, 8pm at the dfw party...we can host it on the playing fields!
