Check out etsy, there are loads of similar styles on there for a much better price (plus it would be a bit more unique!).0

Old thread resurrected? Jane at HF Couture. I know this lady super well and does some exceptionally beautiful stuff. Not as expensive as the lovely Jenny either!
https://www.hfcouture.co.uk or search via FB x0 -
I've fallen in love with Ivory & Co 'Octavia', and I just can't justify it now matter how much I want it. It's so shiny...0

I'm going to my brother's wedding in September and I LOVE the Jenny Packham head dresses. They are beautiful, the price, maybe not so much!
I want to wear a discreet side tiara as a hairband (I'm assuming they're OK for proms and special occasions if they're not too blinging, bad manners to upstage the bride!).
Anyway, I've came up with this so far as reminiscent of the "style" and a lot cheaper: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230803120270?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 (7 x 3cm might be a bit small, I'd have to see it)
This barette is quite nice too. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370625732235?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
I'm loving the Halo And Co and Glitzy Secrets stuff..there's a seller on ebay called Urban Bride who does beautiful headdresses too, which look Jenny Packham-inspired, but they're expensive! http://www.urbanbride.co.uk/shop/all0 -
I loved the Acacia II as well but was able to try it on before i went out and bought one and was glad that i did. I HATED it on me. I love it on other people, but it really just did not suit me or my hair/face shape so it might be an idea to see if any hairdressers/bridal shops have it to try on first, as it might help choose an alternative?0

Haha, that is very true...imagine spending all that cash, trying it on, and HATING it.
After reading MSE threads about side tiaras/headpieces, here are more I like (cheaper options to the ones I covet):
http://www.kerryblu.co.uk/chic-amour-bridal-headband-1320-p.asp (actually I see it on ebay even cheaper) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bridesmaid-Bridal-Flower-Headband-Wedding-W-Clear-Swarovski-Crystals-/320935916436?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4ab9457394

I have a thing about fascinators, ie, I hate them. I think they look very frumpy (just my opinion, though)..side tiaras or a classy headdress seems a little more chic.
Currently watching ebay with a few Halo & Co, Glitzy Secrets ones on my list.
By the way, I'm sure you all know already, but there's a High Street Jenny Packham line in Debenhams called "No1" (some ebay sellers are sneakily listing their items as "Jenny Packham" only).
http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Navigate?ps=&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&txt=jenny+packham&x=0&y=0#catalogId=10001&lid=//productsuniverse/en_GB/product_online%3DY/insearch%3D1/%24s%3Djenny%5Cu0020packham&pn=1&ps=max&psl=All&storeId=10001
JP No1 hair accessories (no tiaras unfortunately): http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Navigate?ps=default&storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&txt=jenny+packham+hair&x=0&y=00 -
This side tiara/headband is great for the money (crystal daisies): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VINTAGE-STYLE-STATEMENT-DAISY-CHAIN-CRYSTAL-DIAMANTE-BRIDAL-SIDE-HEADBAND-TIARA-/130713082475?pt=UK_Bridal_Accessories&hash=item1e6f1b5a6b
Art deco small hair clips: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HANDMADE-PARIS-ARTDECO-STYLE-SMALL-SILVER-BRIDAL-BRIDESMAID-WEDDING-HAIR-COMB-/140733748174?pt=UK_Bridal_Accessories&hash=item20c46293ce
This one is a great price too, but not sure I like it: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/STUNNING-VINTAGE-STYLE-FLORAL-CRYSTAL-HEADBAND-SIDE-TIARA-BRIDAL-PROM-DAHFHR0044-/180904315078?pt=UK_Bridal_Accessories&hash=item2a1ebcc8c6
Edit: I found some I liked at an even more reasonable price0
