40's survival kit

Hi everyone,
It's our friends 40th on Saturday and I want to make him a 40'ssurvival kit but I'm struggling with what to put in it. So far all I can think of is wrinkle cream and marbles (for when he loses hs!) please can anyone give me some ideas:D
Thanks Tina x x

There's some good ideas on here for ''jokey'' type stuff

Maybe you could get a little sachet of hair dye......grecian 2000 is it ? and a little book of word games to keep his brain active ?:)
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Does he wear glasses yet... a magnifying glass.... or even a voucher for the £5 eye test Mr Boots is doing....
  • Hi,

I recently put together a 40th birthday survival kit and included the following:

50 pennies – contribution to retirement fund
glasses - for when your eyesight goes
duct tape - instant face lift
incontinence pads – incase of any accidents
memory mints – for those senior moments
blue pills – for increased sex drive
red tablets – to encourage hair regrowth
lollipops - for when life sucks
starburst candy - for an extra burst of energy
paperclips - to hold things together
mls of oil - to keep your joints lubricated
marbles - spares for when you lose your own
asprin - for those extra aches and pains
notepad – to write things down before you forget
first aid kit – for when you fall down
baby food – to help you adjust to softer foods
rubber bands - to give you your flexibility back
batteries – for your hearing aid and pacemaker
matchsticks – to help keep your eyes open
